I’m presently semi-retired living in the woods of the Upper Peninsula of Michigan in Crystal Falls Township; 330 miles directly north of Chicago. When someone wants quality work I’m ready and willing to travel anywhere in the country on short notice; fees based on being in Chicago, IL.
In ‘69 I received a BFA in Art History and Photography (dual majors) and in ‘72 a MFA in Photography from Utah State University.
I’ve been a commercial photographer since ‘73 to present. Many of those years in self-employment with a studio in downtown Chicago where I worked mainly with Fortune’s top 250 corporations and various advertising agencies and design firms doing annual reports, corporate brochures, catalogs and portraits. Besides shooting some of Chicago’s most beautiful women, I also shot President Ford. Somewhere during those years I won several awards for my work.
In ‘96 I started doing video. I’ve done some corporate work, but most of my video work is shooting weddings which I enjoy capturing those very special memories just for you. I’ve even picked up a Best of Show award for my personal work.
I’m a member of WEVA and a past Vise-President of Illinois Videographer’s Association.
